AP Mega DSC: Schedule Out Now

The alliance government in Andhra Pradesh has delivered good news to unemployed teacher aspirants. Fulfilling its election promise, the School Education Department released the complete schedule for the 'Mega DSC' (District Selection Committee) today. A total of 16,347 posts, including School Assistants (SA), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), and Language Pandits, will be filled through this notification. Minister Nara Lokesh announced via Twitter that the online application process will commence from January 1, 2026.
Key Dates:
According to the released schedule, hall tickets will be available for download from February 15. The Computer Based Tests (CBT) are slated to be held from February 25 to March 10. The government aims to declare results by the first week of April and complete the posting process by June, just before the start of the new academic year. The government has also issued a GO increasing the maximum age limit from 42 to 44 years (with additional relaxation for reserved categories).
Syllabus and TET:
Candidates who qualified in the recently concluded TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) are eligible for this DSC. The detailed syllabus has been hosted on the official website. Coaching centers across the state are already witnessing a surge in admissions. The government has assured a transparent recruitment process free from any malpractices. This announcement has rejuvenated the hopes of thousands of aspirants who have been waiting for a notification for the last five years.
